God has always used one channel, one group of people, to communicate his messages to.

Ok, since time indefinite Jehovah has ALWAYS used only one channel (his people) to reveal himself and future events to.

Are we to totally disregard the dreams given to Nebuchenezzer, then KING OF THE WORLD, in the book of Daniel??? Yes, dreams directly from God himself to a pagan deviate with a weird name. Why were they not given to Daniel??? Why not cut out the middleman and go directly to Daniel? This definitly throws a monkey wrench in the theory that one and only one set, organization, or kind of people were used to communicate the truth.

Also a revelation came to the future apostle or Saint Paul when he was still the bad Saul of Tarsus, on his way to persecute more Christians. Saul definitely wasn't part of the so-called "one channel".

I don't think the phrase "one channel" is anywhere in the Bible, but of course it's all over the place in Watchtower literature.

An even simpler question: what was the "one channel" at any point in time from 100 AD to 1879 AD? And why didn't CT Russell join that one channel instead of starting something new?

However, the "new light" from the 7/15/13 WT seems to put an end to the "there's always been a channel" JW meme.

    My sentiments EXACTLY!

No FDS means no clear channel, just a bunch of static for 2000 years. Eusebius, Polycarp, Agustine, Martin Luther, Wycliffe, Tyndale.....voices in the wilderness.

Well it what we should expect from a Corporation claiming to be chosen by God almighty himself, it is an assumption displaying great leaps in logic*, with a dash of wishful thinking thrown in. There is no scriptural basic for the statement even if we take everything the Bible says literally.

*It is another way of saying 'jumping to conclusions', in other words, that

the logic that is supporting an opinion is not complete, it lacks some pieces.

Jehovah , from memory, only used individuals to comunicate his prophecies etc. Moses, individual Prophets, like Samuel etc

These were used in preference to the Priests who would seem the logical group.

The one exception that could be claimed is when the decision on circumcision etc was given in Acts 15, this is thought by some scholars to be of doubtful historicity anyway, but regardless, this was a one off, where the Older Men in Jerusalem had been asked for a group decision.

Individuals as a"channel" is what we see throughout scripture, nothing resembling the Eight Popes of the Watchtower.

He tore off his clothes and lay naked on the ground all day and all night, prophesying in the presence of Samuel. The people who were watching exclaimed, "What? Is even Saul a prophet?" English Standard Version
And he too stripped off his clothes, and he too prophesied before Samuel and lay naked all that day and all that night. Thus it is said, “Is Saul also among the prophets?”

    1 Samuel 10:11
When all those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other, "What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?"

    Isaiah 20: 2-4 At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;

Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls. 9 For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem. 10 Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust. 1
