When I was a kid I absolutly loved the video "the Point" and bought the musical album (Neilsson)and loved that as well. The Theme of that cartoon video and even the album is all about living in the land of absolute conformity in the land of Point with no concieved choice but to conform. It is about a little ( round headed) kids journy through the pointless forest ( he was banished after a trial for not having a point) and finally the end of the story ( it really comes out in the middle with the rock man) that you don't have to have a point to have a point.
Now that is a video with great music that I think helps kids recognise the pointlessness of absolulte conformity.
Maybe its just my love for the story and music but I think it is a great teaching story as well.
It's on you tube in great resolution in entirety with both Ringo Starr narrating and also one with Dustin Hoffman.
