I read these heartfelt letters where people pour out their guts and it’s just amazing. (as a result....I joined the XJW support group on facebook; Ex-Jehovah's Witness Recovery Group 3! )
I got pulled in at the age of 44 not because I became a jeho but because my estranged wife did her best to entrap my two young girls. The social drama that takes place here is beyond anything I ever imagined. I thought I had seen it all at the age of 44. Boy was I wrong.
These guys fool you right in front of your eyes. A carrot and stick game gone to an entirely new level.
It’s fascinating and infuriating at the same time.
All I can do really is fight for my kids and cheer on the people who are trying to emerge and reinvent themselves from the cult.
You can do it. I know you can. I can let it go. I can heal in time from my pain. But it’s going to take time.
I wish you all the very best in your journey.
Don’t be afraid.
Be strong.
God Bless.
