  I hope the above link works. The author claims he is a 21 veteran of the nuclear industry. Anyhow, it's interesting to get another viewpoint that doesn't revel in fear porn.

  Tritium in the water isn't a world ender, either. Brookhaven National Labs in Long Island had a big tritium leak into ground water that few people talk about ( happened some years ago).

  By the way, there have been some academics who claimed that there was an enormous increase in tritium detected in water in the World Trade center after 9/11. I won't speculate on that!

  Ouch! Is implying a poster is a troll a new way to signal disapproval of and/or disdain for another poster's response? I didn't detect anything 'trollish' in Glander's witty retort - but perhaps I wasn't trying hard enough.

  Last I checked it was very much under exaggerated. To the point that the Japanese government was going to take over and tap into this years diaster funding to the tune of 1.6 billion dollars.
