Genesis says that Cherubs guarded the way to eden with a spinning sword.Yet this is long before Tubal-Cain first invented forging of iron.(according to the Bible)Does this mean Jehovah invented swords and was the first to use them for violence? Comments welcome.

I have been wandering the same thing.
I think it shows that the writer of genesis slipped up putting something from his time ( a tool of war) in a time when there were no swords. IF genesis were true then God would have invented a tool of war even before the first murder occurred on earth!!
That is like saying god drove a BMW in paradise in stead of walking.and adam wearing a watch.
these things sometimes happen in movies like westerns, actors forgetting jerry-cans, watches etc.
