If I could go back to 1974

I was very young back then, and can remember telling everyone at school, family, and all my worldly friends that the world would end in just another year.

Now after reading the latest July WT, and reviewing all the updates, I can't help but wonder what effect I would have if I told members of my faith that Armeggeddon, wouldn't come that year. The FDS has two appointments, 1st in 1919, and then 2nd after the GT. All Anointed are not part of the FDS. The understanding of the Generation would change, and change so many times that it will become a mystery. The sheep and goats, will be not revealed untill after the GT. The Domestics are members of the Great Crowd, and the annointed. We cover up pedofiles. The transition of not having a spiritual association with a DF'd relative, will evolve into a Unnecessary business concept. That Raymond Franz had figured it out, and was honest in expressing our failed understanding, but would be treated harsely for it.

If, only I could go back in time, but what good would that of done?

If only I knew of these future developments back then. I would have pursued my colledge education and got a better job. I would probably not have wasted my time as a jw in the cong and field service. My life would have definitely been different.

None. They would have DF'd you so fast your head would spin.

You can't change the cards you were dealt.....Only how you play them.

If I could go back in time I would make two other trips. One to the early 1880's to enlighten C.T. Russel of what his misdirected MONSTER turned into, and

then to early 1900's to beat the krap out of Rutherford in a New York Alley. Oh, I'd

probably have to return in 1917 and beat the krap out of Rutherford again.

Jake: So Brother Rutherford needed two beatings, eh?

Jeff: I don't think the DF would of happened that quickly during that time for independent thinkers. I remember many different independent thinkers around during those years. There were even Bethelites that felt free to express their opinions on the GB back then.
