What and how much change do you want to see in WT policy and future direction?

And to those that believe that we are fighting a useless battle with all these issues, take the time to send Mark Thomas an email.

    Who is Mark Thomas?

    # All Watchtower publications be written in invisable ink which will magically erase all previous publications.
    # All who lost their lives because of the blood transfusion rules and other rediculous laws be instantly resurrected and divvy up the material wealth of Patterson, Brooklyn and Bethel.
    # All who suffered emotional abuse by shunning and other coersive treatment by the systematic missinterpretation of text have all memory and effects thereof wiped clean from their psychies.

For myself, I don't care, because I will never suscribe to their religion again. For current JWs, I would like to see a minimum of eliminating the DF/Shunning policy, leaving Blood Transfusions to individual choice, and a host of other regulations and rules that do not belong to any religion to make, and proper protection for children from being victims of abuse and sexual molestation. At best, I wuld like the see the Watchtower religion go mainstream, much as the Worldwide Church of God did.

I do care , even though no longer a part, as it's shadow looms large over my life.
Do I want children growing up as witnesses, people giving up jobs and friends to join this religion?
I would like people in general , to be more broadly educated so they could see through stupid religious systems on their own.
But that is more difficult to achieve.
So I would like to see the watchtower publicly expossed as a fraud.
And I would like to see it shut down as a major player on the world scene.

If you tolerate this then your children will be nextManic Street Preachers.

Seriously?!! You never seen his show on Channel4. OK It's on at the moment on Wednesday evenings after the watershed.

The guy is quite brilliant as a stand up comedian, active campaigner against corporations corruptness. You really might want to view his style this Wednesday coming. He is the perfect man for the job, in tackling WT policy full head on.

Perhaps too forthright and radical for most people here to be able to appreciate but you got to respect his balls.

Check out the Mark Thomas Website on the channel4 webpage.

I want the organization dissolved. All Kingdom Halls, Bethel Buildings and other assets are to be liquidated. The money will be placed into a fund which will be used to pay for the educating of all those who were suckered by the WBTS bullshit about education and threw away their lives selling magazines. It will also be used to provide essentials of life for those past retirement age who didn't save any money because they were "living in the last days" and would't need it.

Ah, love! could you and I with Him conspire
To grasp this sorry scheme of things entire,
Would not we shatter it to bits--and then
Re-mould it nearer to the heart's desire!

I pretty much agree with Amazing.

I believe that a person's relationship with God is just that. It belongs to the person and to God.

I have no problem with them teaching any doctrine or moral code. I have a big problem with them trying to enforce the code or belief in any particular check lists of doctrines themselves.

A person's conscience is his and their judgement belongs only to God.

So, get rid of all human judgement and replace it with human compassion and leave the judgement to the only one who has the wisdom to do it right.

    What would I change?
A few that come to mind,
1.Blood doctrine and any others involving medical procedures.
2.Must have accurate bible translation not altered.
    3.Disfellowshipping and shunning policy.
4.All written material must list the name of author.
5.If a scripture is quoted, the previous and following verses must also.
6.No quotas and record keeping of service hours.
7.The J.W. members would decide where the money goes like by vote etc. and hopefully be more involved in actual charity work.
    etc, etc,
