What format is it in? Is a program, a zip file, what?
It's definitely not a text file. hahaha Text file, I crack me up.

Just click on save to disk, and save to desktop.
You can't transfere the text to a word prosessor and I don't know the format.
I just put it on the board for any who want to see what shameless mind control tricks the WT is useing on the poor ignorant JW they have under their power.
And I thought some would like to do expose on really overt mind control day texts for the board.

Warning WT does not want that they should not give out the comments but rather limit the program to just the actuall scripture. I am sure the society has valid reasons.

I have just received a really good little program that puts the day's text and comments on your desk top each day so that it is easy to read when you switch on the computer. All you have to do is open the attachment and click 'open it' - it is virus free..
There is a little icon that appears on the desk top that you click to get the text , and it is automatically changed each day to the right text for that day. It is really useful.

Hello Applebee: in the first message that started this thread,Rons letter had in the bottom lefthand corner (in the grey area)," daytext 2002.exe" , put your mouse on this link and click(left-click). You should see a window asking you to download.I click "save". A new window asks you where you want to save it to. I choose "desktop".If you don't see " desk top", scroll in the window untill you find it. Next you will see a window inicating that the file is being downloaded.Follow instructions by closing the window when it's "complete". Next RIGHT click on the new icon that has appeared on your desktop. Select "open" from the drop down menu. From there, follow the instuctions that appear on your screen. Hope it works for you,it's a great "must have" program. I scanned it with Norton anti-virus and it's fine. hope this helps you.-Robert

Thanks for the program, i have seen ones like these about but i thought i might just give a word of warning. I belong to a number of witness sites where in previous years they have contiunally updated the programs to include the comments from the watchtowers, however from the start of this year they were advised by the society that they should not give out the comments but rather limit the program to just the actuall scripture. I am sure the society has valid reasons for doing so, so perhaps the maker of the program would like to contact them to see whether the avaliabilty of the comments on the net has Jehovah's smile of approval

For all those who down loaded that program, you might want to visit the homepage to see what Stevie has done. Read before you do. He has other downloads which you will find useful but don't infringe on copy righted material. Surely the Days text provided by our brothers in paperback form should be sufficient. (uses less electricity as well)

I love Jehovah. He thinks of everything! By not using our computers/Internet, we save on Electricity. What a loving arrangement Jehovah has provided through the faithful and discreet slave.
