  JW Leaks has commenced publishing US Diplomatic Cables relating to Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Watch Tower Society.

  The first series of diplomatic cables deals with the years 1973 – 1976 and provides a unique insight into the role the US government played in assisting the Watch Tower Society around the world during the turbulent mid-1970′s.

  These diplomatic cables deal with the treatment of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Malawi, the banning of the Watch Tower Society in Kenya and Argentina, arrests of Jehovah’s Witness missionaries and members around the world (incl. Turkey, Spain, Greece, Kenya, Mozambique), the US government’s diplomatic political assistance in trying to get Grant Suiter and Milton Henschel into South Africa for a visit, and the seizing of Watch Tower Society property in various countries.

  When taken together the cables show the degree of reliance the Watch Tower Society has placed in the US Department of State and various US embassies to secure the presence of the corporation in Africa, Asia, and South America.

  These diplomatic cables will especially assist those who are researching the history of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Africa, Asia, South America, Turkey, Greece, and Spain.

  Hahahahaha! - so much for trusting in Yahweh, and Yahweh's protection and Yahweh's opening the way for the work, and Yahweh etc, etc, etc , etc - Unless Yahweh has somehow morphed into Uncle Sam!

  And note that this may turn out to be a bigger expose than the UN deal - much bigger!

  I always suspected that some sort of deal had been organised by Nathan K (most likely). It is not clear what benefit Uncle Sam got out of all this, or why they should take an interest in a piss-pot little organisation of Krazy Kristian Kultists. But the evidence seems to show they did.

  Back in the day I noted some anti-communist articles - mainly in the Awake - that I thought violated their supposedly strict political neutrality - it would be interesting to see how they synchronise with these cables. Perhaps, those articles were the pay-off for US support.

  Lol! I love some of the countries - especially africa - refusing the visa requests for 'Watchtower officials'. Go Africa!

  The response to these seems to be an appeal to distance themselves from Jehovahs Witnesses - asking them to not consider their disdain for Jehovah's Witnesses but grant them the visas by judging them on a personal level (even though the reason they state they are going is "to inspect some of the Societies Properties and attend the convention").

  What happened to submitting to the secular authorities when it doesn't interfere with the Kingdom? Having a fully paid for trip to Africa for a rockstar tour and inspect the properties that were paid for by volenteers and contributions hasn't got anything to do with furthering the kingdom.

  On a side note "inspecting the Societies Properties" puts a bad taste in my mouth.

  Same as those European courts for human rights. The WT is the first to tell everyone not to trust in men and wait on Jehovah, but when it suits them they'll run to these 'satanic' organisations and agencies for help.

  What we need is a huge expose on just how in bed with the governments these 'neutral' twats really are, then 4 million JWs will probably up and leave.

  Just saying - Esther appealed to the king; Paul appealed to Festus, Felix, & Caesar. They simply used a provision to "defend and legally establish the good news."

  However, getting embroiled with the political system you assert is evil by 'jumping into bed' with the U.N. and the OSCE, is entirely indefensible!

  Using standard legal processes (courts) to protect your inalienable rights, is justifiable. Lobbyingpoliticians, stinks!
