  picked it up at midnight last night. its incredible, i played for hours and didnt do any missions other than the intro. im just grinding taxi missions and exploring. the game is insane, i am in awe.

  One of my kids has been waiting for it and I wouldn't let him pre-order it because last time I did that with a game I ended up standing at midnight in the rain for an hour because of the DUMB system GameStop had (you didn't just show a receipt and they hand you one out of a box, noooooo ... they spent ages finding the exact specific one that had you receipt number on it !!! ... so that's why the queue took ages).

  Of course the news was all about how it's sold out. I got a copy though. BestBuy had tons. I think 'shortages' are always contrived to make people purches and pre-order.

  I'm going to make him think he's not getting it thought and "I can't be bothered going to the shops right now".

  Been totally immersed in this game for the past few days. Trevor has to be one of the best (worst) video game characters ever. I've busted out laughing so many times while playing as him. My still-in mom would blow a gasket if she knew videogames are like this nowadays, though.

  I'd like to have a go at this game but there's no version for the PC? I'd have to buy some sort of game console I suppose?
