Who Knows and I are going to Tokyo, Kyoto, Kobe and Hakone at the end of next week. Last March was our 40th wedding anniversary and our gift to each other is this trip.
Does anyone have any recommendations re restaurants, attractions, etc.?

Hire some push bikes to ride around Kyoto, it's good fun. And Kyoto is home to one of the most beautiful public gardens I've ever seen. Can't remember what it's called, but it's near the big shrine (the maine one) and very famous, I'm sure most locals will be able to point you in the direction

I've always wanted to go to Japan.
The cherry blossom, the Japanese maples, the koi, the gardens & parks.

If you have time, i recommend to visit Nara. Its not too far from Kyoto and its my favorite place in Japan. Last april i went with my friend to sleep in forest next to Nara Park, alongside with many deers.
