    Why the Blood Ban?

Today I added a new article to my blog addressing Watchtower’s motivation to construct its infamous blood doctrine.

There are reports published that the reason was something other than religious conviction. My blog article shares a piece of information published by Watchtower that suggests the then existence of such an ulterior motive.

My article is titled Why the Blood Ban? and is available at: http://marvinshilmer.blogspot.com/2013/09/why-blood-ban.html

The 62 Day's Text quote from WT 9/15 62 is very interesting. It clearly shows that the original intent of the anti blood stance was one of complete abstainance. Misguided as it may be it is at least an honest and straight forward approach to a principled stand. The current situation is a complete mess of watered down mush that should be constrained to the bowels of history ASAP before any more innocents die.

That's a very good example on how the WTS use the bible as an after thought

    to support their ideas

Really, would anyone still trust the WTBTS interpretation or understanding of the Bible any more. Jus tlook at the recent 'nu lite' crap.

If they got all that stuff wrong for 70-80 years, why would you trust that they got the blood ban right? They didn't get it right and everyone knows it but some would let their loved ones die for a misguided interpratation of scripture. OMG! i never supported the blood understanding even when I was an elder.

the blood policy is a shambles. how anyone makes sense of it is beyond me....I cannot see how it relates in anyway to bible principles.....
