US Pastor claims Raping boys would cure them of homosexuality-Petition

The petition is against the lenient sentence of a probation period proposed by a judge in Iowa.

The Pastor is a Brent Girouex ( Victory Fellowship Church. who was found guilty of raping four boys with the excuse that he was "raping away the gay." He allegedly told the police that "when they ejaculate, they would be getting rid of the evil thoughts in their mind. Further, he claimed that his prayers during intercourse would also 'pray away the gay.

Another eight boys came forward during the police investigation.

Girouex was found guilty and sentenced to 17 yeas gaol. Now the judge has decided to suspend the gaol sentence and subject Girouex to 5 years probation to allow him an opportunity to be treated.

interestingly, the idea of 'curing' homosexuality with gay sex is nothing new. it's not right, but it's not like this guy had some brilliant revelation.

Perversion does not need religion to flourish - but it sure helps it to have a religiously moral imperative to justify it.

We had another case here where the judge sentenced a teacher for having sex with a 14 year old girl to one month in jail. The girl killed herself at 17, but the judge said that at the time of the offence, she appeared older and "had control of the situation". The sentence is being reviewed after a major backlash by the public. Crazy.
