It's a documentary on people that are waiting for the rapture, armageddon etc. basically anything evangelical and fundamental christians believe in. Even though the documentary doesn't make any commentary, it seems that JW's aren't the only one scaring their children and members and making an entire industry around it. It's disgusting how many people make money on the backs of people's fear. How much more productive would the earth be if all that money could be turned into science and helping others.

One of the big problems is that JWs don't realize that Armageddon is going to be fought in Jerusalem, not Brooklyn! The prophets couldn't have been more clear on the matter. John even identified it as the city where our Lord was crucified. The Society is a tiny little organization that other nations don't care anything about. Why would they suddenly combine forces and attack the Governing Body with nuclear weapons?

@Cold Steel - I don't know if you're sarcastic or not but Jerusalem? Really? Nobody even cares about that shithole. It's a point of contention because you've got 3 religions fighting over holy ground, no amount of negotiation, war or weaponry is going to change that, within 500 years they'll still be fighting, even if one of their gods existed, he doesn't seem to care much now as to how many people die there. They could blow a dirty nuke there and pilgrims would die from radiation poisoning for the next 100 years and call it their religious privilege to die.

It only matters what YOU do. Only LOVE, not doctrine or dates or the pronunciation of God's "name" or anything else is an identifying mark of those who follow what Jesus actually taught.

Many religious leaders are opportunists- the Watchtower Society being a prime example- and they will use unfavourable world events and the Armageddon myth to frighten people into joining their religion. For these charlatans the ‘end justifies the means’ , so if the result is more people going to church or the KH or finding ‘Jesus’ then it is ‘mission accomplished’. This is despite the fact that there is no evidence of God or of any Bible ‘prophecy’ ever having any relation to events in the modern age.
