  So there's a post on a JW facebook page... when I read it, I laughed so hard... Here's the translation (it was in Spanish, and he wrote everything in caps):

  He will just use the classic WT tactic when they put their foot in their mouth:

  "Evidently, some Jehovah's Witnesses misunderstood what I said and assumed my words were a probability rather than a mere possibility".

  WT made the same claims about "The Finished Mystery", that it would be THE reference book right into the New Earth. Just a handful of years later it was relegated to the trash bin.

  Yes, I suppose. But the organization is also full of people only too willingly colluding in their own self-delusion. As that old, old aphorism states: "The world wants to be deceived".

  There's brainwashing and then there's willing collusion - this is as true of humanity in general as it is of those who submit to high control groups.
