None of the Christologically significant verses have been altered in the slightest as far as I can tell. It's as if they are afraid to touch them because they are too important or controversial to mess with. Even the awkward wording of Phil 2:5-11 is largely retained, and the grammatically problematic John 8:58.

I've been spotchecking the NNWT this morning on the phone app on a number of doctrinal issues, not just the diety of Christ. It appears really largely a cut and paste from the NWT.

Yeah in all the controversial verses the same. However take a look at Ecclesiastes - it's like a completely different translation. The extent of the revision seems to be very uneven across the whole of the Bible.

That was one of the first things I noticed about it. I actually appreciate the presence of the alternate rendering "was divine" there.
