it-1 p. 523 - " Just before Israel entered the Promised Land, in 1473 B.C.E., Jehovah made a covenant with natural Israel at Moab." (De 29:1; 1:3)

Why deceptively use the word "natural"? Oh sorry, I forgot - to reinforce the FALSE teaching of the FALSE teachers, (the GB - collectively responsible for blaspheming the Word of God!) namely, that foreigners were NOT included in the Law Covenant, but were merely 'beneficiaries'!

According to the same Insight Book, all such ones became part of the nation of Israel. So much so, that God Almighty himself commanded that they had to assemble before Him, together with "natural" Israelites - Why? - for one reason, and one reason only, to enter into the Covenant with Him!!

it-1 p. 397 Camp - "According to such customs, the servants, retainers, and others attached to the family were reckoned as part of the household, and so the “vast mixed company” that left Egypt likely were intermingled with the various tribes, clans, and families."—Ex 12:38; Nu 11:4; De 29:11.

For the benefit of those wish to verify such an 'apostate' statement, please read Deuteronomy 29:10-15. Go on, I dare you - double-dare you! The truth will set you free - not traditions of men which have been passed down from Russell & Co.!

Perhaps at the 2014 Annual Meeting, (Oct. 2014 - exactly 100 years to the month - woo-hoo!) 'light will flash forth' from Brooklyn, and we'll be informed that 'new light' has revealed that not only is everyone a domestic now, but wonderfully, everyone is now a member of the Israel of God!

How happified the hugely increased number of attendees/video watchers will be!

(sorry, can't make it that day; Psalm 26:4 - " I have not sat with men of untruth; And with those who hide what they are I do not come in."

Yes . And if you read Deut 30:3 - 6 . You see that Yehovah knew they would go bad , but in the last days regather them . This hasn't happened yet . The northern 10 tribes where dispersed in 720 by the Assyrians ,and scattered among the nations . This prophecy is still to be fulfilled . There is more proof of this in the scriptures ."if you don't edit it out "

forgive me - i must be missing something, but if we are all invited into this covenant - what are you saying is the implications for the smaller number of heavenly rulers chosen from mankind now then?

Excellent verses ,I will use them in my debates from now on .Not surprisingly the Watchtower Library's comments on these verses are in Watchtower of 1938 which is post-great crowd light, and it would be interesting to see what they said back then

The 144,000 is a symbolic number describing a great multitude which no man can number.

@ DAVIDAVID - You asked, "what are you saying is the implications for the smaller number of heavenly rulers chosen from mankind now then?"

I assume that you are referring to the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation.

    On that basis, I have to say that after many years of indoctrination regarding these ones, I have come to a totally different view of them, based on Scriptural evidence, not certain ones' wishful thinking or propaganda. I'll briefly summarize, but if you wish the actual texts, I'll be happy to do so;

    1. Revelation 5:10 (Kingdom Interlinear & other Greek lexicons) clearly shows such ones will reign on the earth, not over it, so they will be literally living on the earth.

    2. They will be 'reigning', but as what? The Bible tells us that 'princes' will be appointed in all the earth by Christ himself, not as kings as the NWT says. Again, compare what the original Greek says.

    3. Reason on this - angels who have been in existence for millions/billions of years, and have endured faithfully for thousands of years while Satan tried to corrupt them, will now become inferior to a bunch of humans who have only had to remain faithful for an average of 840 months each.

    4. Nowhere in the Scriptures is there any mention of 144,000 thrones - nowhere! Pretty serious omission if it was true!

    5. Finally, Jesus' sacrifice was propitiatory or covering - it was a ransom which bought back exactly what was lost. So on a set of scales, put Adam on one side, and Christ on the other. Does it balance when you add 144,000 superhuman spirit creatures who become kings in heaven, to Jesus' side?

It doesn't ring true, does it. It screws up God's sense of perfect justice and the basis of the ransom.

Why would we need 144,001 kings anyway? What has any human done to share in Christ's rulership?

Seacher , you have come to the same coclusions that we have . Once you read the scriptures without a slant put on them . It takes a while to get fifty yrs of indoctrination out of your head , and see what the Bible really teaches .
