AGM - has it been rolled out to all Witnesses

My wife has been pretty inactive with the folks who have been trying to get her to study going on about nine months now. Just recently the last gal she studied with has been calling her and trying to get her interest again. The congregation she had attended was a spanish speaking congregation and I guess I am wondering (actually thinking) that the renewed zeal is a bump from the AGM.

I've read a few topics in which this acronym is used, but I do not understand what it means.

It used to be called General Annual Meeting, others refered to it as the Annual General Meeting.

Nowadays it's just called Annual Meeting.
