I was really surprised when re- reading an article in MM Outreach booklet the other day..It mentioned the
August 1st 1995 Watchtower stating that the other sheep ( the great crowd) can relate to Jehovah as their grandfather thru the "Eternal Father, Jesus" OMG! Did the organization really write that.
Yes, I kept some old Watchtowers and found that issue. There it was in all its confusing jibberish. Why had I know read that back in '95. Was I shutting out the "truth" they were trying to teach me.?? No, it just didn't hit me then. God has a time for everything, and this was His time to reveal to me thru the MM Outreach so that I could once again dig a little deeper.
I am no longer in the Watchtower organization...and with my eyes & heart open, I can understand when God is speaking to me to clarify something. When I was a JW, I never once believed that Jehovah God was my "grandfather". Was I to pray to Jehovah my grandfather? And to even believe that Jesus was my " eternal father"-- oh gosh no! We couldn't believe that!!
I was always taught that Jesus was just a man, a god. He was never the eternal father...but read the Watchtower article for yourself. Could it be that in '95 the organization was teaching false hoods about their own belief?!
Let me know what you think. I don't know when the last time was that someone posted on this website, but I would like to see some responses to my questions.
Thanks & God the Father Bless you!
Not God the grandfather.
