Do you think with the release of the new NWT that there has been or will be a large cash infusion into the WT Society?

With the bad economoic conditions that many are suffering through right now, it got me thinking about how it may/might affect the contributions/donations to the WorldWide Work.

Do you feel most will be inclined to offer less monetarily at this time for their "new bibles" than say if it had been released a few years earlier?

Or do you think most will offer even more in the hopes that Jah will bless their efforts?

Has anyone heard yet of a "suggested donation" amount that is being circulated around the K-halls as with all other publications etc.?

I'm really curious what is the "going rate" or what they think their translation is worth.

We tend to forget that NWTs have been released every year in recent years, just not in English.

Due to the numbers involved with the English release it probably will give at least a little boost to the contributions.

sbf- interesting stat, we forgetabout those things being gone so long.

Did the Wt. ever recover its cash flow once it stopped charging for the literature.

I personally think most JWs are to stingy to contribute voluntarily to the cash situation of the Wt. and must be goaded by guilt tripping lectures and the ATM methods now used.
