  The following examples only serve to illustrate that when you assume total control over what people are told to believe, then be prepared to be exposed and ridiculed as liars, charlatans, and offspring of vipers when your perverted teachings crumble when held up to the real Bible truth!

  " Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an everlasting covenant, our Lord Jesus." (Hebrews 13:20) "And I will conclude with them a covenant of peace; an indefinitely lasting covenant." (Ezekiel 37:26)

  WHAT DOES THE GB REALLY TEACH? - it-1 p. 524 - "Likewise, the new covenant will come to its end when all the anointed ones are resurrected to heavenly immortal life. w79 4/1 p. 31 - The new covenant will terminate with the glorification of the remnant who are today in that covenant mediated by Christ."

  WHAT DOES THE BIBLE REALLY TEACH?

  "YOU are all of YOU stationed today before Jehovah YOUR God, the heads of YOUR tribes, YOUR older men and YOUR officers, every man of Israel, YOUR little ones, YOUR wives, and your alien resident who is in the midst of your camp, from the gatherer of your wood to the drawer of your water, in order for you to enter into the covenant of Jehovah your God and his oath....(Deuteronomy 29:10-12)

  WHAT DOES THE GB REALLY TEACH? - w98 2/1 p. 11 par. 13 - " When Jehovah made his covenant, it was only with Israel; those of the "vast mixed company," although present, were not named as participants."

  WHAT DOES THE BIBLE REALLY TEACH?

  Revelation 20:12 says, ".... and scrolls were opened........ And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds."

  Verse 12 only says 'scrolls', and that these scrolls will be used to judge the dead!

  Verses 7-10 say that after Christ's 1000 reign is finished, Satan is released then eventually destroyed, and after his destruction the scrolls are opened - they are not opened during the 1000 years!

  WHAT DOES THE GB REALLY TEACH? - w10 4/15 p. 11 par. 17 - "How will Jehovah use his holy spirit in the coming new world? That spirit will be the force behind the new scrolls that will be opened at that time. (Rev. 20:12) What will these contain? Evidently, Jehovah’s detailed requirements for us during the thousand years."

  Which part of 'everlasting' is difficult to understand??????????

  So much for 'everlasting' life or destruction - neither is true???????????

  The Bethel lurkers spying on this website should have a word with the boys on the Writing Committee, and suggest that they come up with some new"clarifications" before the next Annual Meeting!

  You are right but there are more important and harmful doctrines/policies that need changing first. No use removing the mice with elephants walking around the room.

  you are right. the new covenant is not the kingdom/priesthood covenant that has a thousand year expiration date.

  Wt writers will not admit that they roll the two covenant into one.

  new covenant is for forgiveness of sins for more than 144 000 sinners, and having Gods law in our hearts, not our hard drives.

  Isn't Deuteronomy talking about the Mosaic Law covenant, not the new covenant?

  But we're talking about the GB'S blatant lie that "foreigners" were not party to the Law Covenant, only "beneficiaries".

  They then apply this falsehood as a parallel with the "other sheep" and the "anointed" to prove that only an elite group are party to the New Covenant!

  Deuteronomy 29:10-15 flushes this sputum of a teaching right down to where it belongs - the cesspool of demonic teachings!

  @ yadda yadda - I see your point, but IMHO I have experienced the downright blindedness exhibited by fellow Witnesses when discussing topics which can initiate 'Conversation Stoppers' - in their view.

  However, with the examples I've highlighted, they cannot provide any defence for their given false teaching! The Scriptural proof is a hammer-blow!

  For example, I got an elder's wife to explain the "New Scrolls" drivel, then I had her read the verses in Revelation 20. To her credit, (in front of him) she asked, "Why do we believe this then?" He never uttered a word!

  We don't need to have eloquent arguments to reach people's hearts and minds - the Bible does it very easily! (Hebrews 4:12)

  Such examples expose the GB's lies, and can plant seeds in some minds, not all!!

  Nice reasoning Searcher. I've found that too when there are things in the bible they completely overlook. I got my husband to read a well known verse the other day. He had to read it 3 times before he 'saw' the point. The part of the verse we were indoctrinated with made the other part 'disappear'. I had to ask questions to get him to 'see' the overlooked part. Once he saw it, he went silent. (Which he does when something hits home).

  The bible is a great tool to show up WT teachings for the lies they are. Fortunately JWs hold the bible in high esteem and as the final authority. If there is an obvious contradiction the cognitive dissonance sets in. Then they have to either make a choice as to whether they believe the bible or the WT or else carry on burying the contradictions.

  Apparently the jw.org online library changed the declaration of the Insight book . Below is what I found.

  "The purpose of the new covenant requires that it continue in operation until all of the “Israel of God” are resurrected to immortality in the heavens". ( it-1 p. 524 )
