Disfellowshipping is the equivalent of solitary confinement:

Just imagine, the leaders of some religions enforce this type of punishment.

Solitary Confinement-A person is isolated from any (family contact or friends).

It is employed as a form of punishment,to reform,to control and change behavoir. It is considered to be a form of psychological torture.

It causes anguish, provokes serious mental and physical health problems.(thought of suicide).Constitutes cruel, inhumane or degradinig treatment.

I only wish the ACLU or HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH or the UN would take action against religions that treat Human Being so Cruelly.

They are pointing the finger at their own own corrupt and evil practice!
