The motive behind the brutal killing is debt for dog fight gambling, according to authorities, although the exact amount of the debt is still unknown.

This doesn't smell right at all. This was a case of mistaken identity or the family saw or knew something incrimminating the killers or their bosses. No one pays $115.00 to breed a dog in Mexico when they live in poverty. Would hate to think that any of this family were involved with the drug cartels, but i seen worse things from brothers and sisters.

I wonder why only four (?) of the eight victims were memorialized by a funeral at the Kingdom Hall.

Perhaps the entire family were not JWs (baptized or publishers), and the remainder were cared for by their respective faith communities.
