  What an absolute barefaced lie!!
  I just looked up a watchtower about "this generation".

  I remember studying this, and falling for it!Did you?

  If the we is the governing body or the faithful and discrete then this is a massive lie , direct to Jehovah’s witnesses.
  Of course their changed view meant that Armageddon was further off than first thought.This is a lie.
  They have set numerous dates for Armageddon.

  Are just some of the limits put to the outbreak of armageddon.
  Anyway how can you know if armageddon is further away than you thought , as it hasn't happened yet!
  You would have to know when it is going to happen to know that.

  Hi sleepy, I guess this is the reason many left the org in 95. They saw through the lie.

  I was df'd at that time and didn't realise the change had accured, had I known, I may have left then too.

  Lilacs who was df'd only three months after being dunked bad girl I was.

  How can they know that it's not further away than they thought, if they don't know when it will be?

  I married my JW wife in April of 95, before I found this site. One of the first religious arguements we had revolved around the annointed and "THIS GENERATION" passing away. I told my wife "Within a year or two they will have to change how to define a generation cuz all the "Annointed" are dying off."

  Man, did I feel like a prophet when this WT issue came out. Hey, I'm batting a better average than the GB, maybe I'M"God's unique channel here on earth."
