There’s another view of this picture to found on the internet.
This conceptual drawing was based on a side scan sonar image taken about 2200 ft. from the surface of the water. This image was taken off western Cuba.
Here’s a different side scan sonar image taken by the research team in the same area.
A conceptual drawing was created based on this image as well.
They also sent an unmanned rover down there and took this photo of a carved stone block. The rover took a few more pictures of other stone blocks in the area but this one is the best.

It's too deep and too expensive to research further. If there was oil to be found down there that might change things.

Oh for Pete's sake, not this again. I used to have a high school chum in the 70's who believed all the pseudo science of the time... von Daniken, Bermuda triangle, Atlantis theories, the works. Because of him I read most of the books, and this story of underwater pyramids and structures goes back to that time and genre. There is not a shred of scientific evidence.
Can archaeological works be found under water? Yes of course, and there have been some remarkable finds in recent years. But I say this story is a hoax until some scientific evidence is produced.
