My son and his Mormon girlfriend went by to pick up his

mom and her husband for a ride around town. They drove

by the Rose Bowl on a Saturday afternoon. Kids playing soccer,

    folks enjoying the nice day.

My ex- wife husband seated in the front pointing out to my son how

some day all this will be paradise, lions, bears all enjoying the park.

My ex, none of those baggy pants that kid is wearing.

The husband, look at the mountains that is surrounding the Rose Bowl,

one day all of God's people will be living up there.

Driving back to where they were staying in a not so nice area the husband

said, and we will never see anything like this in paradise.

After my son dropped his mom and husband off, his girlfriend said

    that was creepy.LOL

Hi Jam, Your son's Mormon girlfriend 'knows' creepy when she see's it. lol

I was in the car in service with an exMissionary , now Circuit Overseer. He was such a dear man. I really liked him and his wife. Going down one of our main

roads in our country, pastoral settings, territory, he pointed out the largest farm, with the largest barns, and maybe 2000 acres of land, and said, "after

    Armageddon,

that is the property I want".

He died about 8 or 10 years ago. He never expected to die.

I feel sorry for those like your exwife's husband. They hold onto JW.ORG teachings as 'truth'™ because they were told by WT leader's, that it was the 'truth'™

Just like those who buy weekly Lottery tickets. They keep thinking this week, maybe this week I'll be a big winner, so that it becomes an obsession that blocks out anything else

that might be more reasonable, such as saving your money, and budgeting to treat yourself once in a while, and budgeting so you can have a great vacation or move and live somewhere else, where you can feel good about where you live.

And the husband probably counted his time as 'a fine witness' and thinks the mormon girl might be 'interested in the truth'.

I digress, I know but what kind of guy would the apostle Paul be if he was around now?? Would we warm to him? Think he was a nutter?? What would he talk about on the ministry and at public talks?

I personally think he may have had mental health issues. Lucid one minute, wacky the next.

My son who was raised in the borg told me , Dad mom have gone

off the deep end. He said he can not take it anymore being around

his mom, the end is near, the world is terrible , people are so evil we

are so looking forward to the end. I told him your mom have been

in that cult since she was 20 years old and now she is 66 years old,

that is all she knows. You should be happy that she doesn't treat you

like crap, in her old age she have mellowed a little. Just think, years ago

you wasn't welcome in her home and now you guys are riding around in

the same car and with a Mormon. LOL
