Did Franz or other now deceased GB leave a playbook?

Is it possible that Franz, or others, left some kind of playbook, instructions containing a range of possible 'set plays' and 'scenarios' for future GB's.

" ... What if nothing happens by a certain date. Tell them about overlapping generations. Make it sound feasible. "

The current GB members just seem like a group of boneheads. Or is that 'gaggle' of boneheads. They strike me as needing help in coming up with any new idea. Could this 'help' be a book, produced by previous WT leaders, of possible future ideas or teachings? Pick the one that works the best.

    Just thinking.

I wonder how this new group of GBs think of Franz. Was he the proverbial crazy uncle tied to a chair in the basement.

You think they were that smart?

Well, OK!~ no need to answer.

My (more serious) response is why they would even think of preparing such a document when they all believe that Yahweh runs the show, like a puppet master with his puppets. Doesn't matter what happens, Yahweh has it under control.

Surely the Noun of Assembly, or Collective Noun for a group of Boneheads would be an "Ossification" ?

It strikes me that Mad Freddie was not all that forward thinking, otherwise he would have left 1975 more open-ended than he did, he was around when Rutherford had his 1925 brain-fart, you would think Freddie would have learned from that particular debacle. I doubt he left any intelligable instructions for the future. He could well have believed he was Spirit Directed.

It seems as though the guys who guide the whole WT thing now, sit down and work out a strategy and then sell it to the GB who sell it to the R&F.

They still have not solved the problem of 1914 though, just bought themselves a little more time.

The problem they are stuck with is, no 1914 = no 1919 = no FDS, and with 100 years gone by, what is the FDS for ? All they have managed since 1919 is false predictions and cock-up after cock-up.

Even the extremely gullible R&F JW's will soon say "WTF?"

Those ego-driven meatheads? Follow a "playbook" of a guy who died 20+ years ago?

    Please.

These guys are so full of themselves they had to widen the upper half of the door frames of the Bethel offices just so their heads could squeeze through.

The last thing they would ever so is let anyone else, living or dead, tell them what to do.

Sir82, actually the GB suggest that they do indeed receive information from resurrected annointed ones as per Rev. 7:13,14.

Unless the playbook was written by Gilligan the first mate of the S.S. Minnow, everything seems very consistent with their being no playbook.
