She said to me the reason the Watchtower was involved with the U.N. was because two bad brothers signed up without the WT knowing about it.

Can someone tell me what they are feeding these kids?
I am asking in a polite form, contrary to my feelings!

An elder told my 14 year old son that the WBTS was forced to join because it was the law for international religions!

Jeez, it seems like the Society ain't telling nothing unless specifically asked so the elders are having to make up their own excuses. An elder that came to visit to invite me to the memorial had never even heard of the issue - he refused to believe it. Then, another elder later let slip that they had discussed it in an elder's meeting when they were discussing the visit (at least I was mentioned in dispatches!)I would have loved to see that elders face when another elder confirmed that an apostate knew more about his religion than he did!
The Organisation is following its usual policy of 'ignore it and it'll go away'. Unfortunately for them the policies that worked before the Interent was available won't work nearly so well now.

I showed my 13-year-old son the Watchtower’s hypocrisy directly in the form of a letter from the UN mailed to me on their official stationary. Then I showed him their duplicity exposed on UN web site. I told him they will present him with some sort of denial but there it is my son, see it with your own eyes. He then broke down and told me how he didn’t understand or believe in the blood policy. We both had a good cry together over this as the chains of the Watchtower dropped to the ground and shattered.

Fellow posters; Do you think exposing the Watchtower’s lies in this forum have no affect? Think again, I am winning back my son from the clutches of this cult! THANK GOD FOR THE TIRLESS EFFORTS OF SO-CALLED APOSTATES, AND THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET!!!!

So explain to your daughter that the WTS President is wicked.. a "bad brother"? Or how about good ole Ciro Aucilino, who was a writer for the Writing Dept?

So let me get this straight, the very President of the WTS is wicked? The highest office? I guess corruption and "bad brothers" reach the very top. Or a writer for the WTS? Who composes one of the group who allegedly "speak for Jehovah" in writing articles?

It is not religious persecution for an informed person to expose publicly a certain religion as being false, thus allowing persons to see the difference between false religion and true religion.
