I understand that the WT once said that the existance of Rabies had been disproved?

On what basis did they say that?

Yes they did say there was no such thing as rabies, in fact they stated that germs did not exist at all and that “biting worms” running around on the inside of our bodies caused many of man’s ailments.

They also said such nutty things as, it was impossible for rockets to leave earth’s atmosphere, aluminum cookware causes diseases, madness, and early death; wearing a belt containing a small amount of uranium can improve your health; aspirin contributes to heart disease; the human heart (the organ) actually ‘feels’ emotions and the personality of a person can be transplanted from one person to the other along with the organ and also via a blood transfusion.

MY GOD, they actually put these nutty ideas in print! I could go on and on, but you get the idea. On what basis did they say all this? The same basis they say anything and everything else, their own self-delusions.

    More goofy WT crap:

" Vaccination is a direct violation of the everlasting covenant that God made with Noah after the flood." Golden Age 2/2/1931, p. 293

"A pet should not be given a blood transfusion." WT 2/15/1964, p.127

"Milk is the greatest curative food known." Golden Age, 12/8/1920, p. 146

"All human ailments have their start in the intestines." Golden Age, 11/28/1928, p. 133

"...a drop or two of kerosene excellent for quickly cleaning sinks and bathtubs; it cuts the dirt immediately and leaves no odor; and when applied to cuts the cuts heal sooner. Try it." Consolation, 12/1/1931, p.12

Most of those quotes except about the heart, were a long time ago. And I know this still came right from "jehovah",but are you aware of any other stupid quotes on health in the last few years (I know about blood)?
