DO GOD'S LAWS ONLY APPLY TO CERTAIN ZIP/POST CODES?

According to the GB's teachings, one in particular certainly does - shunning!

FACT: According to the zealots in the Org, the Bible categorically demands that those who leave/disagree with the GB must be shunned - no compromise - and failure to comply will result in very strong discipline for the offender.

Most Witnesses haven't woken up to the truth that God's "law" on shunning is really flexible, depending on your postcode/zip code!!

    Example:

Witness parents who live in Zone A of their town, have a baptized 17 year old son. Son subsequently gets D/F'd. Family life carries on as normal - vacations, conversations, meals together, caring for all his material needs, etc. The only changes are that the parents don't discuss "spiritual matters" with him anymore, and other Witnesses no longer visit his family's home!

Game changer; some time later, son decides to move out and rent his own flat in Zone B of the same town - bad move!!! Now the parents are compelled to disown their son, and cut him off from their home - simply because he now no longer shares the same address!!!

JW's really need to examine the perverted doctrines which are presented as "God's loving direction".

Perhaps it depends on which hounders are there to enforce the rules. However, technically, the law only applies to Jews and then to a selected period of time--between when they entered Israel under Joshua and 70 CE. Notice that the LIE-ble constantly refers to the Jews during this period as "God's chosen ones" and "a people separated from the nations to serve God". Those themes are reinforced throughout the Old Testament, and dismissed in favor of Christi-SCAM-ity after around 33 CE when Peter got Cornelius into being a xian. And, as we have the choice of not following jesus, God's law cannot be applied to us.

And they do not apply to anyone that chooses to follow Satan, as they might well choose if they see that Satan wanted us free (even says so, in veiled terms, in Genesis 3) and joke-hova wants us enslaved (notice the death threat that thing made in Genesis 2, and the hissy fit that it threw after man chose freedom and Satan). At least Satan doesn't make us into sinners by nature, and then provide a bogus "solution" that leads straight to communism and slavery. Joke-hova does, though.

Not sure I understand your premise, Searcher. Aren't you referring to the fact that parents are expected to still take care of their child as long as he's under their roof, DFed or not? It's not about locality, it's about allowing for parental obligation.

The point I'm making is that REGARDLESS of age - he could be 30 years old - as long as the D/F'd person is living at home, he has a family life, so God's "law" of shunning doesn't apply to him!! Woo-Hoo!

But if he voluntarily changes his address, (zip code/postcode) God's "law" SUDDENLY applies to his parents!

    Absolutely despicable corruption of Scriptures!

Good point Searcher.. This as you are well aware is a byproduct of legalism as well as systemic pharasaical thinking.
