While I was in the Borg, I never knew anything about the personality dynamics within the GB. The idea that it was "Jehovah's Organization" canceled any curiosity I had about the matter.

Since I've become a full-blown evil apostate, my research has led me to believe that, just like any other governmental regime, there is a serious divide in the GB between the liberals and the conservatives.

It is also my understanding that one of the strongest and most influential personalities on the GB is Ted Jaracz. And that his influence is a serious impediment to the much-needed reforms in the org. The following is quoted in regards to Ted on Freeminds -

Ted is as cold as ice and his spirit drives the modern-day Watchtower organization. Orwellian to the max!
It is a shame that loyal dubs are, for the most part, completely unaware of the bizarre, Pharasaical personalities that are at the top of the org.

Yes. And they screw around with the minds of young kids.

Vote for Ted, and if there are any other conservatives of the ilk, vote for them too, praise them up and make sure the place is run by them.

They are rarely named in the society's publications. I was brought up to see them as loving, cuddly "uncle" types, with our best interests at heart. They keep getting these swathes of inspiration from above. They carefully peruse all the Circuit Overseer reports to see what our needs are. Yes, they keep getting engulfed by the spirit while they carefully research all the historical data – don’t bother doing it yourself guys, we do it for you – and it’s not possible for us to get it wrong – we have the spirit and you don’t. Isn’t that nice of them? Perhaps they have a direct telephone line from God. Oh, but they are so humble – and consequently they are referred to as “the slave”.

He's the man called the Boss, alright!
    (by Bethelites, in private)

Actually, he looks a little like Mr. Burns
    on the Simpsons ("ex-cell-lent, Smithers")

I hope he dominates everything and thereby wrecks the Society.

I talked to Nathan Knorr once and he impressed me as a cold, arrogant, type of person. He was the president of the society for most of my involvement with the JWs. I also heard Rutherford speak once when I was a small child and he gave me the same impression. Are they all the same?

Reading Ray Franz's Crisis Of Concience is making me see exactly what they were and are all about. That book is simply amazing in the deep look that you get into the GB.
