The supposed reason the yearbook is published is to encourage the friends with experiences and seeing growth by numbers. If that is the case, why not emphasize that more people than ever are partaking at the memorial showing more people supposedly being accepted to heaven which should be great news?!
Why the 2014 yearbook is the most hypocritical book out now.

Good point.
I cannot be arsed to read the trash, but I bet the GB in their pathetic little message they give at the front have to use some real weasel words to big up the fact that the numbers are down for active JW's.

Actually, the numbers are up - other threads have the statistics.
Growth is stagnant in most of the world - Africa & South America still have modest growth which leads to an overall small net increase in JWs.
It's just a matter of time until those areas slow down as well. You can expect to see 0% growth overall in 3 or 4 years, then shrinkage a few years after that.
