O had some JWs call on me and they didn't know me.
One of them said she 'found the truth(tm) but I knew she was a born in.
I wonder how many born ins pretend they 'found' the 'truth(tm) but actually mean when they were 'baptised(tm)' just to sucker people in?
She found "the Truth" at the bottom of her cereal bowl. [It was a Captain Crunch morning.]
Yeah.. Before I had any doubts, I never really understood that reasoning.. "God has drawn every JW into his Organization,and they are only witnesses because he wanted them individually.."
So maybe the born ins are like John The baptist, each and everyone of them were formed by Gods Hand and predestined to be in the organization. WOW!!
And of course if they leave the truth, it's clear that God did not desire them any more .. Ugh.
Perception can so easily be warped.
In Watchtower lala land "The Truth" has nothing to do with "The Good News".
Not so in the Bible...

JWs do this a lot on Y!A. They chime in with a question like: I've been searching for God for so long but I don't understand the bible. Who will study the bible with me for free?
Wouldn't you know about a dozen JWs answer the plea for help, followed by much gratitude and praise from the questioner.
I don't know about anyone else but I was certainly fooled.

They just use whatever "truth" is convenient for them at the time.
If you need to impress some big "Overseer" then you are a "third generation witness" (looks good on your resume).
If you are trying to con some poor householder you "found the truth".
They are shameless in the way they misrepresent themselves.
