Three plus years ago I had an experience that started to open my eyes to TTATT and it was about blood. My wife was 9 months pregnant with my Son and the baby was too big for us to have it at home with the assistance of a midwife. At the hospital we met with the doctor and it was obvious that a C section was a possibility as well, again do to the size of the baby. Since this was a possibility then we became concerned about my wife’s potential health ricks and the potential use of blood during the procedure so we met with a sister from the JW liaison committee that was stationed at the hospital. During our meeting with her she started to explain our options an products we could possible use and during this conversation she mentioned so many products that sounded to me like they had blood product in them that I stopped her and ask her, "are you one of Jehovah's Witnesses?".

She mentioned so many products that had blood in them I actually thought that she may have been there representing the hospital as their Liaison committee as a plant a fraud and not the actual Liaison committee by JW's.

I went in to this meeting thinking that in no way would I allow the doctors to give my wife or baby any blood products at all, even fractions of blood and came away with instead many questions. Fortunately my wife had a healthy 11 and a half pound baby boy naturally. Now though I believe that the Liaison committee about blood set up by Jehovah's witnesses is set up and is there for one reason and one reason alone, to help get as many Jehovah’s Witnesses as possibly to except blood and all its components and fractions without them really knowing it, so to lessen any possible liability to the Organization...

... so we met with a sister from the JW liaison committee ...

I thought all HLC are men. Perhaps she was indeed a fraud.

A lot of hospitals have hired JWs to manage their bloodless programs administratively, and in a hospital-to-patient role. These cannot be on the Liasion committee per se because of conflicts of interest. Many of these are women. I've met a few in my time. They are employed by the hospital. They do, though, work closely with Liasion committees, so it's easy to assume they are part of the Liasion committee. As flamegrilled said, committee members are all men and I would add, are all elders.

Maybe she was, but after and learning TTATT and going to some of the blood sites like Marvins, it seems as though she did not say anything that the brothers would not of said. Infact have you seen anything printed in response of the use of Hemopure (cows blood) by the JW's NO!!! I also mentioned the sister to a elder at my hall and he didn't seem to indicate anything weird about her. So I don't know if she was official or unofficial.
