According to an article in todays paper PRINCE plans to charge fans as little as $11 for tickets to his coming London shows.

The pop superstarsaid he wanted to keep ticket prices low and work smaller venues with his all- female band 3rd Eye-Girl.

"This is a new band ,people are getting something new" Prince said.

Soon he'll be doing half time shows at District Conventions with poorly recorded crackling backing tracks for "voluntary donations".

If he did half time shows at the conventions like he did for the super ball... I'd go! That man, even as crazy as he may be, has soul!

    RE: District Convention half-time show

Bro. Nelson will need to get CO wardrobe approval prior to the show-that means no tight purple pants or chest hair exposure (ruffled shirt ok, tie not optional) and no phallus-shaped guitars or goat-shaped demon props allowed on the Convention stage.

I wouldn't go see this pretentious asshole for free ......really !

As I mentioned before on another thread, he's taken on this newly acquired righteous persona

to revert a noted public image as being The Little Dirty One he had during most of his career.

All of this is being done to support a new and needed public image of himself, now he is

    the righteous little dirt one.

If you can believe that !

Just a little man who tries his darnest to make himself bigger and above everyone else in the music industry

as well outside of it .

I don't even know how Prince's recent albums even qualify as music. I remember his earlier albums, and they were great recordings. Prince really pushed the envelope for decency and got us past our hang-ups regarding "bad language" in music. He really wanted freedom of expression. It was the Purple Rain album that got us our famous explicit lyric advisories on albums, which is reasonable to allow those who do not want swearing or other hard content in their music to avoid it while allowing those of us who don't object to it to enjoy it, swearing and all.

However, once Prince became a jokehovian, his music was lame. I will not even waste the electricity to stream more than samples of Prince's new music. This is not another Michael Jackson, who pushed the boundaries of what was acceptable within the religion even while still active, with the Thriller album. Michael Jackson managed to still put out excellent music. Too bad the Establishment kept hounding Michael, ruining his career and ultimately resulting in his being slaughtered (and blaming "medical error" and "Michael hounding them for too many sleeping pills"). Prince, on the other hand, cannot produce decent music while under the influence of the washtowel.
