According to (F.E.M.A.) survivors of natural disasters, such as a tornado, go through three stages.
1)Shock & disbelief
2)Exhilaration (who cares about our material possessions)
we are alive!
3)REALITY (moving in with relatives)
I think its the same with those that leave the Borg.
1) Shock & disbelief (The WT is a SCAM!)
2) Who cares, were FREE!
3) REALITY (losing friends & family)
