  How often has this been proven? Countless times. WT must be ecstatic that they've protected yet another pedophile and their ridiculous policies remain intact based on a technicality.

  Does this prevent the victims from suing in a civil case?

  Doubtful the culprit has much financially, but seems the prosecutor thought there was enough evidence to go after the WTS.

  Blondie is right. Some areas have revised their statutes of limitations on clergy abuse. That is a worthy pursuit and expenditure of our time.
