  stumping the wt educated assembled, do you follow Paul? does the remnant of the anointed? are they already in a heavenly place? if so, why do they still need a saviour?

  did Paul refer to a kind of spirituality a state, that is alien to the present experience of believers? wt believers?

  explain, think about what Paul was talikung about!

  the observed reaction: how do you dare bring up direct reading and questions like that. but

  sowing seeds. wt does not have all, not even partially good answers.

  I do not know who is in heavens! It something that know one can prove! Paul was not thinking about modern day people! I do not think anyone could think that far in advance. 5) All does not mean much to the WT society. WT believes these congregations are the first to go to heavens as 144,000. So why would any JW read Pauls writings! 20) Sounds like Paul is waiting to go to heavens to be with Jesus. He is going to change, earthly, lowly bodies to glorious ones! Sort of a goal for lowly humans to move ahead! Prologos I am sorry if I do not understand just wanted to post! It is way over my head!

  That's an awesome point Sarah. We don't need the GB, they need us. Without a consumer they would be out of a job! As far as the OP is concerned, I guess we will find out. I am firmly convinced that we will all die once, just like Paul wrote. The evidence is overwhelming. I guess if I am wrong, God will make it clear to me. Maybe this is what the Bible means when it says that we will receive a witness at " it's own particular time." I think Jesus' presense or "coming along side" is personal. When we die then we will see him. Every eye will see him because everyone dies. Sound good??

  There might have been a particularly strange doctrine developped among the Phillipians, and Paul threw this "spiritual kingdom" idea at them to prompt them not to be too hide-bound spiritually. read Ehrman "FORGED"

  His comments might not reveal eternal comic truth, but just local issues to be dealt with.

  sahrah'smile, the book dates from 2011, this is a serious scholar. I can not name all the issues that prompted thiese books, often forgeries to be written, but the theme of it all is that all this surprisingly erudite writing by previously illiterate folks had very targeted purposes, to contratict, to defame counter arguments of the many factions vying for ascendency in the christian congregations.
