The really dangerous thing about Legos, in particular, is their educational value. The math and engineering skills that can be learned through experimenting with Legos, could be dangerous to a young JW's mindset. They may become confused, or even come to realize that they might be able to do problem-solving or independent thinking, outside the direction of Jehovah's writing department.
I'm curious about the statement at the end of this article:

Making sense of Watchtower doctrine and Jehovah Witness beliefs is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Playing with round peg into round hole Legos could cause a JW youth to think how JW beliefs do not make sense. I bet 95+% of JW apostates have played with Legos as a child.

WT Wizard is right, despite what some posters think of his writng style. Christi-scamity is about sitting around and doing nothing because someone else will do it for you...someday, but ONLY if you don't accidentally screw up and get killed for eternity. Yes there are some xians who do good works, but so do atheists, so xianity has no no claim to unique truth. What it does have is an overwhelming track record of hypocrisy, murder, fear, guilt, control, and members who die wating to start their lives in a future utopia. So many stop learning, because they know it all. They stop taking personal responsibility for their communities and for their world, after all Jehovah, or YHWH, or Jeehobo, or Jeehoober, or someone else is going to handle that.
In the meantime, just contribute your money and don't buy Legos. Oh yeah, since when did Lego prices skyrocket?!?! They were not so expensive when I was a kid. What happened? Are the materials shipped to China and back??

I agree, DD. But our family never had those big fancy kits with the characters. I remember we had one small platform, 1-1/2 sets of wheels and a whole bunch of rectangle bricks in 5 or 6 different sizes.
