A 27-year old Bethlehem man forced his way into a Lehigh Township home and allegedly threatened a woman, Lehigh Township police say.

Saverio Michael Pasqualucci stopped at the home in the 900 block of South Cottonwood Road about 10:30 Wednesday morning, knocked on the door and offered a pamphlet from the Jehovah's Witness Church in Nazareth, documents says.

When the woman inside the home said she wasn't interested, Pasqualucci walked away but came back about 10 minutes later, saying, "Hey aren't you going to let me in, I'm a friend and here to see your husband," records say.

The woman told Pasqualucci to get off the property and said she was going to call police, according to records.

Pasqualucci then forced his way into the home and made threatening statements to the woman, records say.

"I just got made, I'm here to do a hit," he told the woman, who was afraid she would be harmed and called police, records say.

The woman told police she was afraid Pasqualucci was going to harm her by killing her, assaulting her or raping her, records say.

When Lehigh Township police arrived at the home, they spoke to Pasqualucci, standing by a black Ford truck, parked partially in the driveway, records say.

Pasqualucci identified himself, provided his address and said he was at the home to see the woman's husband, whose name he did not know, records say.

Pasqualucci was arraigned in front of District Judge Robert Hawke on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and terroristic threats with the intent to terrorize another.

He is in Northampton County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. April 11.

He was getting a little too serious in doing those RV's.

Actually maybe he just found the pamphlet. The story is odd.

I hope that she did not make up her story to get him arrested.

Maybe one of our posters knows him. Maybe he or she can tell us if he has hot temper, etc....

Look on the bright side - Technically, he never ended his field service that morning. So, he should be able to still count his time while in prison.

And I hope for a nice long jail sentence. I also hope this gets much publicity, so any corrupt judges that think the baptism is a legally binding contract can have this rubbed into their face. Is it part of the contract to threaten people in order to get your quota of return visits, whether such quota comes from the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger, the court order to resume and maintain levels of service, or the hounders in charge of setting what constitutes an acceptable level of servlce? And, should anyone stay with a contract when such clauses are potentially in effect at any level? Or, maybe would it be better to let people welsh on such agreements if they had no reasonable access to having this going on before "signing"?

Showing up at a door with Watchtower does not automatically make someone a JW any more than someone showing up at the door with fake badge makes them a cop, or wearing a hardhat and carrying a cilpboard makes them a utility worker. But many home invasions are done by people using tactics just like this.

Plus, don't JW's usually go in pairs?

Could end up as an interesting assembly experience about how she learned the Truth through a man who was persistent.
