Speculation about "peace and security" ends with the failure once again of Israel and Palestine to reach an agreement.

I just wonder if Ez 38 and 39 will ever play out as described. THey were foretold to be dispersed then regathered as a nation.

i find it odd that evangelicals think Israelmust have jerusalem once more for armageddon to come, the bible written after 70ad was clearly ending on a sour note for the jewish nation.

Oh yeah....the cry of Peace & Security? That's just another con-job prophecy that the Watchtower pulls out when it suits them. They have been pretty quiet abut it for a long time. Never see much talk of the UN as the scarlet colored wild beast since the Watchtower got exposed an a UN NGO member.

all of the hebrew scriptures were written prior to 70 AD, the dead sea scrolls back that up.

the greek were written after Jesus, yes. The prophecies about Jews returning to Jerusalem are all within the Hebrew scriptures through.

The parts in the greek scriptures were taken from the hebrew scriptures. When Jesus said the temple will be trampled until the time of the gentiles ends, Daniel 9:26-27 is talking about the sacrifice and gift offering stopping (when temple destroyed).

But specifically about Jerusalem and Israel being restored, in Ez 37:21 - "here I am taking the sons of Israel from among the nations to which they have gone, and I will collect them together from round about and bring them onto their soil" (So Israels people were scattered then eventually brought back.

What happens next???) In Ez 38:16 talking about gog,,,"In the final part of the days it will occur, and I shall certainly bring you against my land, for the purpose that the nations may know me when I santify myself in you before their eyes, o Gog" So this event that will happen is to show the world.

Now in the GREEK scriptures when talking about the sacred secret and the grafting onto the olive tree...In Romans 11:25 "I do not want you, brothers, to be ignorant of this sacred secret, in order for you to not be discreet in your own eyes: that a dulling of the sensibilities has happened in part to Israel UNTIL the full number of people of the nations has come in."

There is a time limit there.

Ezekiel 39:27-28 - when I bring them back from the people and I actually collect them together out of the lands of their enemies, I will also sanctify msyelf among them before the eyes of many nations. (the event against Gog). 28 - and they will have to know that I am Jehovah(YHWH) their God, when I send them into exile to the nations and actually bring them together upon their soil, so that I shall leave none of them remaining there any longer.

So anyway the hebrew scriptures predicted them being scattered then regathered as a nation. They were scattered almost 2000 years ago then after WW2 regathered as a nation. With all the tension and problems there it is very interesting to see if all of this is a big coincidence and how things may play out in the future.
