Watchtower Society vs. General Motors

What is the difference between the Watchtower Society and General Motors? Even with its recent coverup of a deadly defect in the ignition system of one of its car models, GM may be more ethical and its leaders more scrupulous than the Watchtower--at they lease they are no worse. I don't see any difference in how the Society is run than a major corporation anyway. On a corporate level it is all about results regardless of the price that people have to pay, and that trickles down on a congregation level. Your thoughts?

The WTSBTS is a corporation surrounded by other corporate entities. General Motors trades on the NYSE. It is a public company. The feds and states regulate it. It pays taxes. If GM ever failed, it would be a cruel blow to America. Its equity stock is in many hands.

The WT is not a public company. We don't even know who makes key policy and investment decisions. There is zero transparency. The feds and states cannot regulate. Unless an outright crime such as murder takes place, it is not government;s business. If the WT failed, no one in America would care.

Where would you rather keep assets?
