She “Who’s Chewbacca?”
He “He was the tall, hairy, best-buddy of Hans Solo in the earlier episodes.” “You remember, we had that car, years ago, that when it rained or the humidity was just right and you put the drivers side window up and down it made a sound just like Chewbacca.” “I got wet a lot of times trying to replicate that sound.” “Gawd, I miss that car!”
She “Wait a minute…you mean you have no interest in seeing this new movie because this Chewbacca person…”
He “He wasn’t a person”
She “Don’t interrupt!”
She “This Chewbacca whatever, was a better buddy than some other ridiculous character in some stupid science fiction movie and the only way you could imitate the sound that he/it made…I’m assuming here for the moment that this poor creature wasn’t blessed with vocal cords or couldn’t speak for some other reason… was to put the window up and down in the driving rain in an automobile that we owned more than twenty years ago?”
