If the above is an emerging standard of legal protection of churches, where is it in congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses?

Due diligence about children. A written, signed copy of bylaws. Instead, they have a dodgy 'What The Bible Really Teaches' book that fails to fully explain things like transfusions and df'ing - but expects baptism at the end.

The WTS Legal Dept. is way behind the times. They've left huge areas undefined, ambiguous and open to litigation.

Yet another aspect of Rutherford's legacy; viewing JW kids as miniature adults (read: WT assets).

I often wonder if they collectively gets dizzy headaches on a regular basis, trying to juggle the realities of the 21st Century legal landscape with increasingly untenable WT policies that can't help but come back and bite them on the ass...

This could make a great Facebook post, asking something like, before we join any group do we check the following...?

Between watching Blackfish last night and this great post, I'm motivated to get some JW's still on my Facebook thinking.
