I remember clearly the events in 1993 that surrounded this horrible massacre. I worked in the town of Palatine within a mile or two of the crime scene and remember how frightened I was in the immediate weeks after this event happened knowing the killer(s) was still on the loose.
They finally caught the bastards who slaughtered seven innocent lives—for some money and for the "thrill" of it.

Today, after nine years Palatine and its surrounding communities are breathing a long-awaited sigh of relief.
May their victims and their families finally rest in peace.
