There are 4 single men who are serving as MS. All are tripping over themselves for attenttion. Do they have to marry off a ministerial servant before taking him to the next level?
And what percentage of elders are married?

In our KH we have 9 Elders - all married; an 3 MS - all single.

Actually, if the qualifications for elders and ms's are to be taken literally, then they must be married--husband of one wife-- and have children under subjection.

The Witchtower often hints that single men with more than two pubic hairs must be PERVERTS!!!
(unless he molests kids) then he must be protected and supported.

I have come to a personal conclusion, that my single since high school brother in law, ( married at 16 with a pregnant girlfriend, then promptly divorced, and single ever since. ) That his decades long absense from all things JW after being raised JW as my husband was, and not baptised, like my husband, has been sucked into reinterest from the campaign to "gather the lost sheep" (his mother put some pressure on). I think he might be, full force ahead, in it for a wife. He is turning 50. He is also getting tons of attention he is not used to ( love bombing as you all know that promptly evaporates and replaced with demands post baptism) He could easily be a quick riser up to MS and maybe even elder if he keeps this up. Lack of men to do the job. He is easily a lazy mental JW like my husband ( accepts WT word on everything as the only truth, no real thought or research of his own) He follows directions without even putting thought into it. Perfect JW company man if he keeps this up. UGH
I do believe he thinks this is his ticket to marriage. He is probably right too, wouldn't you agree? He has a quirky personality, but not an unlikable person by any means. Just quirky sense of humor etc.. He has been since I have known him a very giving to his friends like my husband. But he is socially so akward with women that I think it is the reason he is not able to find a mate yet. So the JW will proide him with his choice of young mates, wanting him for his position in the congroegation. Sad really. I fear he will get a kook that will make life miserable. We shall see.

He's prime material for some younger lovelorn pio sis who has never been able to connect with guys in her own age group...it's a not uncommon matchup.
