Just who is an employer and employee in the many corporations listed under the banner of jehovahs witnesses as distinct from volunteers.Who gets a salary.

  This thought occured to me while reflecting on comments made by the organisation that JW`s should not state they are representatives of the WTB&TS , because in reality they are not employed by the organisation , they are merely volunteers as jehovahs witnesses .

  So I`m thinking not only the rank & file JW is not employed , neither are Elders , MS , pioneers etc.of a congregation . They are all only volunteers who have no comeback on the society for any reason whatsoever , financial or otherwise .

  What about CO`s , DO`s etc. Are they paid employees of the WTB&TS ? or are they too classed as volunteers who have no claim against the organisation for any reason .

  The religion of jehovahs witnesses comes under the umberella of many organisations , to name a few . The Watchtower Bible &Tract Society , The International Bible Students Association , JW.ORG.COM etc. Are the board members , directors , etc. employers ? Do they receive a salary ? Or are we to beleive that they are no more employers than the average jehovahs witness and are just volunteers receiving no salary.

  The legal department is made up of dedicated baptised jehovahs witnesses who have law degrees , are they employed by any of these corporations ? do they collect a salary ? or are we to beleive they too are only volunteers and are not employees .

  The eight members presently serving as the governing Body of Jehovahs Witnesses , are they employers ? receiving a salary ? Do they have employees receiving a salary , or are we to beleive they also are volunteers receiving no renumeration for their service.

  If their is no employer /employee arrangement in this organisation , who is in control of all the financial dealings in real estate , investments ,etc. that involves millions of dollars annually . Are we to beleive this is all in the hands of volunteers ?

  Who is in control of the organisation of jehovahs Witnesses , with its many corporations , how much are they paid , and where is all the money going that has been brought in up till now . Which by the sale of recent propertys is in the $millions , where is that money going.

  It is a corporation.

  It has "members" (legal def. of members) that vote at the business part of the annual meeting. They are not employees not do they have legal liability.

  The bylaws govern membership and choosing of directors.

  The directors are the true legal reps. of the Society.

  It's a cult and a scam with no financial transparency. Of course there are emplyers and emplyees, but those titles are only used in certain circumstances at other times its hidden for tax purposes. Kate xx

  Fair enough , The Searcher , but seriously , are we supposed to beleive that volunteers decide which buildings are to be put up for sale and how much they are worth ?

  Volunteers decide who travels overseas to give talks at international assemblys ?

  Volunteers control all this money generated by the many diversified arrangements to do exactly that ? generate money ? eg: real estate , investments , contributions , gifts , bequeaths , etc.etc.

  This is a helluva lot of money generated by this religion , and we are supposed to beleive its all in the hands of volunteers ?

  Give me a break .
