There was a thread the other day that stuck in my mind. I've just spent the last three hours trying to find it and I hope someone can remember its name, as I'm about to give up.
As I recollect, one gal was speaking of her miserable marriage to an elder who kept throwing the scripture about the "marital due" etc., at her and demanding it every day regardless of how she felt or anything else, including her being 8 months along in a difficult pregnancy. I've known men like this and detest them.
There were other poignant experiences in the same thread.
I mentioned this thread to my wife as being something she ought to read and she showed interest. We are working on our 42nd year together now, and have managed to avoid countless problems by listening to such stories and talking about them.
Does anyone remember this thread?
