I usually get the updates from this awesome site, but there has been an announcement pretty recent regarding changes to the meetings during the CO visit.

Anyone got the insigh on this?

Elders and MSs will visit with inactive ones during the CO vist. There's also a rumor that there will be one less meeting per week for the CO visit. Not sure an official letter is out just yet, but I read it here, and I heard it from another elder (that elder said it's a rumor, so it makes me wonder if he comes here from time to time).

Leaving_quietly- That was announced, one meeting per week during CO visit. Apparently, the family night study was not being done because of the two meetings during the CO visit.

So, now you are expected to have your own book study on your personal study. Which I will do........NOT.

I'd be interested to see if any additional letters or attachments came with that letter.

Hasn't been announced in our cong, yet. Maybe this week. We'll see. That change is probably quite welcome for COs wives. They haven't had the benefit of only one mid-week meeting like the rest of JWs have. The elder who said this claimed the extra night would be used by the CO, Elders and MSs for visiting inactive ones. Don't know if that was in the letter or not.

Visiting inactives during the hounder-hounder visit? Sure sounds like Saturn is coming into Sagittarius, and that could be what spells Trouble when similar threats with Saturn elsewhere were usually scare-only. And, if they want to study with me, I hope they like freezing to death (I will keep my place at 13 o C, and those LED light bulbs generate next to no heat to warm them up). I also hope they like Christmas music and lights. They want to see how much I am making? I hope they like seeing if I can generate fake pay stubs with low numbers along with fake bank account statements with low balances (this is not the IRS, and the hounders do not have the right to know how much I am making). And they won't even see where I hid my stash of silver rounds. They complain about the LED light bulbs (no heat from those), all I have to do is switch them off and turn on my Christmas lights (even less heat).

I just hope joke-hova doesn't exploit the Saturn in Sagittarius this time around, and raise up bad judges that allow them to use the dedication and baptism as legally binding contracts. Let them come up with a court order that I must throw away everything they dictate I throw away, get specific styles of articles (suits, bags, and so on) as dictated, disclose all income as per my income tax forms, disclose all assets (paper and physical), and put in pious-sneer time in field circus and verify the duration and quality of such, and there could be serious trouble resulting if I try to hide as much as a silver dime. They could also ban my computer, or alternatively require installation of snitchware to disclose every site I visit and force me to unsubscribe from sites that do not go along with the jokehovians (and this site, along with Joy of Satan, would qualify there). They could force me, under "breach of contract", to get rid of my Ouija board, whatever talismen I have, and any paper or digital copies of whatever spiritism I could dredge up.

It was announced last night. Notably, the visit will always be on a Tuesday night. So, congregations are going to have to keep switching around after all.

All this to protect the precious Family Worship night because some give that up during the CO visit currently? This makes no sense. So what if it's missed two times in a year. Who cares?

I reckon this is in advance of all the 70 year old C.O's being laid off.

They will be replaced with a volunteer Elder who will pay all his own expenses, except he will probably put in a bill for Fuel, but being employed he will need to take virtually no time off work for this visit, if, as I reckon, he won't be out in FS so much either.

They are layig off all D.O's, C.O's, even younger than 70, are next.

This is so true, I never thought about that. Sucks for them, well not anymore I guess
