Did he not also say, "Faith is believing in something that you know just ain't so" ?

I think that is such a brilliant, and yet funny, definition of Faith, not sure of my dates here, but if this quote predates Ambrose Bierce's "Devil's Dictionary", which is full of such definitions, it could explain why Bierce never had an entry for "Faith", Twains is just too good.
